Ambassador Attiya also affirmed both nations’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. The goal is to attract investors to support the continued expansion of the Port of Mombasa, the development of the Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone, the growth of Lamu Port, and the improvement of inland waterways.

In response, Captain Ruto warmly invited Egyptian investors to leverage Kenya’s infrastructure advancements. He pledged KPA’s full support for any investment initiatives, emphasizing the potential for growth and collaboration in the region.
