The Management of the National Port Authority (NPA) has initiated a comprehensive renovation project at all outstation ports, starting with the Buchanan and Greenville Ports. This strategic effort aims to enhance infrastructure, bolster resilience, and improve service delivery to support Liberia’s expanding maritime and trade sectors.
The current management team inherited a severely deteriorated condition of the ports, which created significant operational challenges. In response, the NPA is prioritizing essential upgrades to modernize facilities, optimize port operations, and create a more efficient and competitive port system.
